"A fractured blend of violin and musique concrete compositions by recent Oberlin Conservatory grad Yuri Popowycz. Very cool, strange, and beautiful environment to explore while you're stuck someplace dull in real life."

My name is Yuri, spelled whyouarei
I graduated from Oberlin in May, and spent a month at home taking a break from the violin, making most of the music on this ep, dealing with a mild injury from overplaying, and beginning planning the next period of my life. The next month I spent in Japan, playing in an orchestra, and the month after that, in Switzerland, performing contemporary classical music.
The last big track, ^JJoM//Worry, was made once I got home to a fractured family and the world slowed its spin.
This ep is the passing through of a familiar doorway after you've spent time away from it.
I'm moving to Detroit now, and I really hope it is all I imagine. hmu if you're there and want to chill!
